MINUTES NOT TO BE WRITTEN ON THIS SIDE.

It was stated that mere official recognition or approval would not be implied by the use of the title "Journer." This rule applied to the Rajah of Sarawak, to which otherwise he might lay claim to being the "Governor of a protected independent State". Even so, it is now instanced in the lives of the word.

There is an old funeral note here, seems to recognize the claim of the Governor, Mr. Barnes, to a salute by guns - [possibly in Governor's mind].

Record Office, and it is suggested we should send you a note, as in FO. 29127/1900 Labuan, the title Governor is denied to the "Principal Representative".

The position is new to the watched. Some day an official visit; and in passing to warn Admiralty as normal. The 316/22 will be sent from him and ?? no. Sea Admy 35039.
